The KPM 200 is actually called the “King Power Master” by a Chinese-based company called Zhejiang Qianjiang Motorcycle Group Co. It’s run by the same parent company that owns Volvo, Polestar and many Chinese vehicle brands.

In the United States, and other countries, it’s sold under the brand name “Lifan” – and in the U.S. specifically, California-based subsidiary called “American Lifan“. There are several distributors and dealers for KPM bikes in the United States and other countries.

The KPM 200 actually has a cousin with which it shares some major components, including the engine. The KPR 200 “King Power Racer” is also a liquid-cooled, small displacement motorcycle, with a distinctively race inspired design.

Both bikes share the same engine (198cc liquid-cooled, electronic fuel injected), transmission (6-speed) and have roughly similar dimensions and top speed (75mph)

Style

The KPM 200 has a distinctive “café” racer style, so named for its stripped-down appearance that favors style and weight savings over long-distance comforts. As such, the KPM 200 is really designed for fast, short-distance excursions. The bike’s shortened handlebars, elongated top-mounted tank, long and flat seat and neutral riding position are what help define the café style.
